About Us

Alpine Florist was established in 2008 as a home-based floral business supplying made to order flowers to our Methven customers.
In 2016 we moved into a retail shop and added giftware including a whole range of baby gifts to our business.
We are centrally located at 39 McMillan Street, Methven, in a quaint old building full of character and local history.
The flower studio and gift shop is light and bright inside with a stunning floral backdrop.

Owner and florist, Dale Tapp holds a National Certificate in Floristry (Level 2) and a Diploma in Commercial Floristry (Level 3) from the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic in Tauranga. She has an eye for detail and is well known in Methven for her stunning arrangements.

  • Our flowers were done by Dale at Alpine Florists in Methven. Dale was so great! She met us at Terrace Downs when we were heading out there one day. She did my bouquet, the bridesmaids, 10 button holes and all of our table flowers at a really reasonable price! We had really bright colourful flowers throughout and she was so excited to do our bouquets! Thank you so much Dale! They were absolutely perfect xx

Delivery Options

Our flowers are well wrapped, watered and cared for every step of the way. We personally deliver them to the door in Methven. Delivery to Ashburton, Rakaia, Mayfield, Mt Somers and surrounding areas as well as Christchurch is via courier, and we track your flowers progress to ensure timely delivery.

For same day delivery, order before 1pm. Orders after 1pm will be delivered the next day.
